Flamingos sighted in Grantsville!

We were "flocked," a cancer fundraiser, by our neighbor.  I had seen similar flocks around town and was quite excited when a flock ended up in our yard!  It is is great fund raiser idea and we paid our $20 and had the flock moved to a neighbor's house.  The woman doing it is hoping to raise at least $1,000 and she said she will meet that easily.

We have been involved in at least one cancer fund raiser every year since Joe's sister Tari died from breast cancer and my Aunt Gay died from leukemia.   I am doing my part to support the cause on April 18th when I run the SLC Marathon for the Huntsman Cancer Institute.  Last year several members of the Turner family participated in the 5k--including my dad who had only been cancer-free for a short time.  This year I am the only runner, but I am running 1 mile in honor of each member of our Turner family:  26 miles and .2 for Baby Price.  I'll be thinking about each of you with love, and gratitude that Dad is healthy and still leading our family!
