The Draper Temple is so beautiful! We went to the open house on a foggy Saturday with the DeLeon family, our friends that were baptized in the summer. It was fun to spend time with them--even waiting in the church before. We waited for a long time because it was very crowded and one of the buses broke down. Thankfully, several of the missionaries there spoke Spanish and they spent a long time talking with Erwin and his family and answering their questions. Joe's Spanish is still good enough that he can communicate quite well with them, and their English is good enough that I can as well. The kids speak perfect Spanish and English and we have a lot of fun with them.

Trying to be patient!
As soon as we saw the bride's room in the temple, Courtnee and Riley both decided that they were going to get married there--Courtnee said in a few years and I told her at least 5 or 10!
The bus ride to the temple!
The temple was very beautiful and Joe was using his "photography" eye in an attempt to discern how the artwork had been brightened. I love the decorating--very serene and motifs carried throughout.
It was difficult to get an outside shot of the temple. You get off the bus and go right into tents and then you go from the temple to a church to the bus. Riley was the only one who would be in the picture and I had to hurry and get on the bus so it is a bit blurry.
We all went to dinner after and spent a lot of time talking and laughing. What a blessing to have good friends and the opportunity to share the temple with them. Joe really encouraged Erwin to make it their family goal to be sealed together in the temple.
