Turner Halloween Party 2008

The annual Turner family Halloween Party was a hit again! Lainey said before we left that it is her favorite part of Halloween--"even better than trick-or-treating!" We met at Mom and Dad's house for a costume display, a yummy dinner, a pumpkin-carving contest, and some trick-or-treating where we delivered treats to some of my parents elderly neighbors and the seniors at the nearby nursing home. We missed the "Georgia devils and angels" like crazy and I give a big "Howdy" to y'all! The best part of the party is the fun costume choices! Here is a glimpse of the Halloween gallery for 2008:

Dad, the Hawaiian tourist (someday soon!), doing the Hakka--

Dad, with Mom, the scary witch--
Joe and I are "black-eyed peas" (thanks to the Arthur's for the idea)--

Courtnee, a fairy?--
Riley and Taylor: Thing 1 and Thing 2--

Lainey, the Vet--

Halle, a 50s girl ("whatever that is")--
Jayci--the cutest kitten ever!--
I didn't get individuals of all of the kids, but they are in the group shot. Baylee is the cutest cat ever, Mackenzie is a vampire, and Danaka was a "Jaberwocky," from a dance show.

Lesley and Brian's costumes were my favorite! Can you guess who they are?--
That's right, Leonardo DaVinci painting the Mona Lisa. Isn't that great!

Happy Halloween from the Joe Cartwright family!
